Ingredients
- Cooking Spray
- 1 large egg
- 1 Box Jiffy Corn Bread Mix
- 1 (8.5 oz.) can cream-style corn
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 cup shredded sharp Cheddar cheese (I used a Cracker Barrel Sharp White)
- 1 Jalapeno pepper, seeded, deveined, and chopped
Preparation Directions
- HEAT oven to 450°F. Coat 8-inch square baking pan with no-stick cooking spray.
- Add the ingredients into a mixing bowl and mix well
- Pour into the prepared baking dish
- BAKE 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Cool in pan 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm
- Cornbread is done when a knife inserted into the center comes out clean
